To personalize stories, HeroMe may ask parents or guardians to provide limited information about their child, such as a first name, interests, or optional descriptive details.
Your Confirmation
By submitting this information, you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child.
- You have permission to provide this information.
- The information provided does not include sensitive personal data.
Prohibited Information
Users should not submit the following information about a child:
- Home address
- School name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Other sensitive personal identifiers
HeroMe reserves the right to remove or edit submitted content that is inappropriate, offensive, or violates these guidelines.
Photo and Likeness Permission
If you choose to upload a photo or provide details to personalize your child's character illustration, you grant HeroMe permission to use that information solely for the purpose of creating your customized storybook.
HeroMe will:
- Use submitted photos or descriptive information only to generate the personalized character illustration
- Not sell, publish, or publicly distribute uploaded photos
- Store submitted images only as long as necessary to complete the order
By submitting a photo or likeness information, you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child
- You have permission to provide the image
- The image does not infringe on the rights of any third party
Parents may request deletion of uploaded images by contacting HeroMe at support@heromereads.com after their order has been completed.
